This is a selection of my recent work, shooting the main and Christmas menu for the newly opened New Zealand bar and eatery, “The Fern & Kiwi” at Clarke Quay, Singapore.

All of these were shot with my Nikon D800 and most with the Nikon 105mm f 2.8 VR Micro lens. A few were with the Sigma 85mm f 1.4.

Some of it was hand-held, some from the tripod. Lighting was provided by some natural light from the window, and 2 speedlights mounted behind shoot-through umbrellas.

And yes, I got to sample all the dishes afterwards. Oh yeah!
