Second to my ‘if-I-had-to-pick-one’ choice of Travel and Landscapes, Macro work and shooting critters small, large, scaly, hairy or otherwise, would be my next favourite subject.

Seeing the amazing detail in the compound eyes of a tiny dragonfly is awesome... managing to shoot it is also pretty damn awesome! I’d have to give a good nod to the amazing optics of the Nikon 200mm f4, as that’s what I shot it with. That and a steady hand. And the joy of digital and being able to take 20 odd shots to get one or two keepers...
