Late last year I had the opportunity to shoot the excellent Kiwi band “The Feelers” as they rocked the Fern & Kiwi at Clarke Quay. Another NZ import, DJ Uncle Phil was spinning a mean disc there too.

I was also fortunate enough to be invited to shoot at the Barclays Singapore Golf Open championship at Sentosa, and I had press-privileges, so was able to walk the entire course, shooting from any and every angle. The Nikon D4 combined with the 200mm f 2 VR2 lens was a deadly combination. We had perfect weather on that day, as well as  the day I shot some more leisurely-paced golf at a private event at Laguna.

The adrenalin-pumping extreme rides at Clarke Quay and the Sentosa Luge, and the hot, noisy racing of the GoKarts on the Singapore F1 track were other good subjects to machine-gun off a few shots at as well, testing the ability of the operator as much as the gear..!
